I was raised in the California Foothills spending most of my time in the great outdoors. The Summers were filled with me swimming in rivers and lakes, and exploring by foot and bicycle. In Winter, I was always snowboarding.
With every season a new sport begins and a new challenge arises. How can I train this year to better than I was last year? Being involved in many different team and individual sports throughout my life piqued my curiosity and focus on human athletic performance.
With my incredible fascination in the human body and how it performs, I acquired a B.S. and a M.S. in Exercise Physiology, which lead me to a great appreciation for diverse training modalities. I spend my free time cycling, running, and playing soccer, well doing pretty much anything that involves a little competition.
My music selection (it’s the soundtrack to my life)
My Boston Terrior (who plays soccer and runs with me)
My bicycles, both mountain and road.
